I find that I am constantly reminding myself that I am a strong person and can in fact handle what life throws my way. And, as I continue to grow, learn and heal from everything that has happened over the past few months I have found a song that particularly spoke to me and now serves as my anthem. Whenever I am feeling sad, angry or just nothing I can always put this song on and it brings a smile to my face. I wanted to share this video because it is just so stinkin' fitting. Enjoy! :)

San Francisco
San Francisco was so much fun! We started off our day at The Ferry Building (http://www.ferrybuildingmarketplace.com/) with breakfast and coffee. From there, we took the trolly down the coast and rented bikes for our bike tour of the Golden Gate Bridge. We biked along the beach and wound our way up to the bridge, crossed over the bridge and down into Sausalito (http://www.sausalito.org/) caught the ferry which took us by Alcatraz and to Peir 49. After we got to Peir 49, we caught a cab to Haight-Ashbury for lunch and a local beer. We walked around The Haight and saw lots of interesting sights! I purchased a tie-dye shirt in the neighborhood...you can't go to Haight-Ashbury without buying something tie-dye! After wondering around The Height, we caught a cab to Lombard St. to see "the crookedest street in the world." It was very crooked and very busy! There were cars lined up for miles to drive down it! After walking down Lombard St. we made our way back to our hotel passing through Little Italy and Chinatown. After a quick rest and shower at the hotel, we made our way back to Little Italy for a relaxing dinner after a very busy day! On Sunday, we got up early and made our way down coastal Highway 1. We saw early morning surfers and beautiful views of the ocean and coast. We wound our way up to Big Basin State Park (http://www.bigbasin.org/) to see coastal redwoods, the largest and oldest trees in California. From there, we made our way back to the airport and back to Dallas. It was a very full weekend, but well worth it! San Francisco is such a wonderful city and I can't wait to go back with I have a proper tour guide, Deanna!

Busy Little Bee
Just a little update on the goings on in my life. I am going to be a very busy little lady for the next month.
I am going with some friends to Austin this weekend and, no, we aren't going to the Arkansas vs UT game. The way I see it, I am getting the best of both worlds. I am going to be in Austin to party with the Hog fans, but I don't have to go to the game and see our inevitable loss to the Long Horns. Instead, we are going to get a cabin on the river and spend Saturday being lazy and floating the river.
Then the, next weekend, I am going to San Francisco. It would figure that the first time I finally make it to San Fran Deanna would be half-way across the world!
Then, the next weekend, I am going to Little Rock for a little girls reunion weekend. Allison is having me, Kristin, Roo, Shanda and Virginia to her lake house for some fun and sun! I am so excited to get to spend some time with these girls! It has been FOREVER since we have all been in the same town!
Then, the next weekend, I take the the final part of the NCIDQ exam! I know, I know, when am I going to have time to study? I guess I am just going to have to make time! Last time I studied, I only studied on the weekends so I guess I'll have to flip that around this time and study during the week. I have pulled all my study material out and I plan on starting tomorrow! Wish me luck!
So, that is my month in a nut shell! I'm doing good, just trying to stay busy! And, it looks like I am succeeding! I hope everyone is doing well. Keep me updated!

Quote of the Day
So I was watching mine and Kristin's show this afternoon, The Hills. And, LC gave some really good advice, "don't ever cry over someone who wouldn't cry over you." Damn that LC is so insightful sometimes.
